Shipping Options
Pickup:
Pickup is from Central Dunedin (pickup address will be emailed once your order has been confirmed). A pickup time/date that suits all parties will be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
Delivery:
We offer delivery within the local Dunedin/Mosgiel/Waitati area only. This ONLY includes postcodes: 9010, 9011, 9012, 9013, 9016, 9018, 9024, 9085
There is a $10 flat fee for all deliveries. Beau Cakes is not responsible for any damage to the cake following delivery at the provided location. All florals are placed on the cake at the final moment before packaging to try and ensure freshness at delivery.
Payment options
Once the final details for your cake have been discussed, you will be emailed an invoice for your custom cake. Once this invoice is paid in full, your order will be confirmed. There is options for bank transfer or online payment ~ you will receive information on this with your invoice.
We value our customers’ personal privacy. We only collect personal information directly from you to assist with billing/shipping/orders. We use Stripe to process payment data for online order payments. Stripe maintains several security safeguards and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. You can read more about Stripe’s security policies here.
Allergy Info
While I endeavour to prevent any cross-contamination with allergens, all Beau Cakes are made in a small and busy kitchen, so there is always a risk of this occurring.
I use ingredients that contain traces of gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts and other allergens - as such if you have a severe allergy to any of these products you will be ordering at your own risk.
Gluten-free Cakes/Macarons:
While we make gluten-free cakes and macarons, these are prepared in the same kitchen space as regular gluten-containing cakes, so there is a risk of cross-contamination.
Nuts:
Many of my cakes include ground nuts (almonds or pistachios) in the cake batter and some may have roasted nuts (hazelnuts, pistachios, walnuts) in the fillings or decoration. This can be altered depending on your custom cake needs, but there is risk of cross-contamination. All macarons are made using ground nuts.
Vegan Cakes:
All vegan cakes are egg-free and dairy-free. Unfortunately there is still risk of cross-contamination of these products from other cakes produced in the same kitchen.
Custom Cakes for Allergies:
If you have a specific allergy, then get in touch through the Custom Cake Order Form and we will endeavour to create something to suit your needs. Again, these cakes will be prepared in the same kitchen space so there is always a risk of cross-contamination.
Flowers:
All fresh flowers used for decoration are edible. Some cakes will be decorated with dried flowers, which I do not advise consuming.
